2. เข้า ใจว่าถ้าเจอที่พักที่อื่นสวยกว่าจะทำไงล่ะ (พอถึงเวลาจริงๆ แล้ว คุณคงเจอที่พักสวยๆ ถูกใจคุณ แต่ราคาล่ะ แพงหูฉี่) จากข้อสรุปนี้ผมคิดว่า เลือกกลับไปพักที่เดิมดีกว่า เพราะที่นี่แพงเกินไป ไม่สมเหตุ สมผลกับราคา
3. วอล์ คอินเข้าไปต้องได้ถูกกว่าแน่นอน เพราะเค้าอยากได้ลูกค้า  (พอถึงเวลาจริงๆ แล้ว ไม่เป็นอย่างนั้นเลย เราจะไปเที่ยววันหยุดทั้งที กี่ที่ๆ ก็เต็มหมด สรุปแล้วก็ไม่พ้นโรงแรมเล็กๆ ผีสิง หรือไม่งั้นก็ได้ที่พักที่ไม่ถูกใจ แล้วการวอล์คอินเข้าไปเค้าคงไม่ให้คุณถูกกว่าแน่นอน นอกจากเป็นกลางอาทิตย์ หรือวันที่ไม่ค่อยมีคนเข้า

หรืออีกเคสหนึ่ง คืออุตส่าห์ลางานไปทั้งที ต้องไปวนหาที่พักกว่าจะได้ ไปตั้งแต่เช้า กว่าจะได้เกือบเที่ยง  เพียงเพราะไม่ได้จองที่พักไว้ล่วงหน้า แล้วพรุ่งนี้อีกล่ะจะต้องเปลี่ยนที่พักอีก
ผมขอยกตัวอย่าง
ลางานไปสามวัน เป็นวันจันทร์ – พุธ เพื่อที่จะเดินทางไปเที่ยว เชียงใหม่ 1 วัน ปาย  2 วัน  ถ้าคุณไม่ได้ทำการจองที่พักไว้ ก่อน คุณก็ต้องไปหาที่พักที่เชียงใหม่ เดินทางไปถึงเช้า แต่กว่าจะหาที่พักได้เกือบบ่าย ถึงจะได้พัก ตอนเย็นออกมาเดินไนท์บาร์ซ่า แล้วต้องเข้านอน สรุปจบวันแรก

วันที่สอง เดินทางต่อไปปาย ออกเดินทางตอนเช้า ถึงปายสายๆ ต้องจ้างรถ หรือเช่ารถมอเตอร์ไซค์ตระเวนหา หรือถ้าวางแผนกันไว้ว่าจะไปนอนบ้านกระทิงรีสอร์ท  พอไปถึงทางรีสอร์ทบอกว่าเต็ม เคว้งเลยคราวนี้ ไปที่ปายวิมานรีสอร์ทก็ได้ เต็มอีก ไม่เป็นไร!!! วนหาก็ได้ สรุปทริปวันที่ 2 กว่าจะหาที่พักได้ก็ปาเข้าไปเกือบเย็น

วันที่สามก็คงไม่ต่างกัน

สรุปทริปนี้ไม่ได้มีการจองที่พักไว้ล่วงหน้า เวลาการพักผ่อนเหลือน้อย เท่ากับเป็นการบริหารเวลาการพักผ่อนที่ไม่ถูกต้อง ผมพยายามจะบอกว่า การจองที่พักเป็นการวางแผนที่ค่อนข้างแน่นอนแม่นยำ และบริหารเวลาได้อย่างมีประสิทธิภาพ
